From September 2015 to April 2016 I was a Teaching Assistant in the course on Communication Theory at the Department of Communication Studies at the Concordia University. More than just marking assignments and papers, I had the opportunity to run tutorial sessions to elucidate student’s questions and facilitate the debate of the main ideas in the readings. It is a very difficult task to teach theory in a second language. But it also a very rewarding experience thanks to the warm environment produced by the students.
