Twitter Versus Mode

Twitter Versus Mode is my first try to connect Twitter and Flash. It is basically a tool that you can compare 2 given keyword. It can by either a user, a hashtag to any keyword.

Once a user hit “go”, the script access a Twitter API to search the last 1000 tweets that mention at least on of the two selected keywords. Each tweet is represented by a square color coded in red (first keyword entry) and blue (second keyword entry). An animation representing the flowing tweets reconstruct a timeline. The content of a tweet can be seen by mouse over in a square, showing the text and the avatar of the tweet owner. There is a an option to reorder the tweets by keywords or go back to the timeline base.

You can try here. It’s free.
